About EverettMassNews
EverettMassNews covers local politics, development, and public affairs in Everett, Massachusetts. We are not a press release rewrite service. We are not affiliated with city hall, the mayor's office, or any political organization.
Our coverage is guided by a simple working-class perspective: the people who live here deserve straight reporting on what their government is actually doing, not what it says it's doing. We read the transcripts. We check the ordinances. We follow the money. We name names.
We are particularly skeptical of manufactured political emergencies, outside organizations using Everett as a proxy battleground for their own agendas, and the growing tendency to treat civic governance as a platform for performance rather than the serious business of running a city.
Everett has real problems that require real solutions: brownfield remediation, housing production, infrastructure investment, and honest stewardship of public money. Those are the stories we are here to cover.
